"Meadow Magic” is a community-led film project to spotlight pollinator friendly practices – A new community-led initiative in the Cooley Peninsula, supported by the Local Biodiversity Action Fund, we will produce a short, publicly available film to highlight the ecological benefits of reduced mowing and the creation and management of wildflower meadows for native pollinators.

This creative and collaborative project brings together ecologists, writers Paddy Courtney & Aoibhéann McCann, cast and crew to craft an engaging and informative video. Cast and creatives will be local children from Mullaghbuoy National School, supported by students and staff at Dundalk Institute of Technology.

Led by Athrach's Co-Director Aoibhéann McCann, in partnership with the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan, the film will be promoted nationally to inspire wider awareness and action in support of pollinator conservation.
